The concept was plotted, and created by both parties during lots of giggling phone calls.
When the anthology disbanded, Robyn and I each took our titles and republished them (see Robyn Peterman's Switching Hour) as stand-alone titles. In the process, Robyn chose to revise and change the name of my character (Winnie).

Paranormal with Heart

Ms. Cassidy does a really good job in the way her characters interact. Loved Zelda and Winnie back in forth antics. Makes me feel like I'm right there in the middle of it. What I really liked about this story is Winnie started out as a self centered and selfish character who only cared for material things. At the end of the book she ended up realizing that her relationships with people are more important . Dakota Cassidy does not disappoint .

Sweet small town romance and magical comedy

The beginning of this story is completely ridiculous, but I mean that in a good way. Winnie has been in prison for the last nine months for abusing her magic. She shares a cell with her best friend Zelda and they are hilarious together. Baba Yaga, head jailer and fashion victim, grants her parole but only if she completes her community service. And Baba makes every step as humiliating as possible, from the car she provides, which advertises feminine hygiene products, to the ill-fitting retro wardrobe.
But once Winnie gets over her embarrassment, it's really a sweet small town romance with cute kids and crazy neighbors. The mother-daughter stories often had me in tears. The rekindled romance is sweet and steamy. And the plot had a few magical surprises. I really enjoyed this Witched at Birth and I'd love to see more from Winnie and her friends.

Reading the first chapter of this book was like déjà vu and i swear i had read it before, really confusing! Little did i know that a book i read which is a new release Switching Hour by Robyn Peterman has the same first chapter with an entirely different story!!! Confused no longer. I love love love this easy light read and totally love to authors picking up off one chapter...brilliant idea.
