About the Author
Susan Sullivan served as an instructor in the Department of Romance Languages of The Johns Hopkins University for 10 years and as a teacher and administrator in Baltimore, Maryland; Rome, Italy; and the New York City area. She is currently chair of the Department of Education of the College of Staten Island, The City University of New York. She was coordinator of the program in educational administration and continues to teach graduate courses in supervision of instruction and educational leadership. Her current research interests center on reflective practice, the role of the school district in systemic change, and of course, supervision of instruction and its alternatives. She has published in journals such as Journal of School Leadership, Journal of Curriculum and Supervision Development, Education and Urban Society, and Educational Leadership and Administration: Teaching and Program Development Journal. She received her BA from Elmira College, her MAT from The Johns Hopkins University, and her MEd and EdD from Teachers College, Columbia University.

Warning: Book not just a collection of stories.....

This book was very different than her previous books. One reviewer complained about it not containing enough stories (did not even finish the book). I think if she had titled the book differently then it would have not disappointed some readers. I have been following Bigfoot, UFOs, the paranormal for many years. Thus, I found her theories and analysis very interesting. Some of what she said has been confirmed by other sources. Her style of writing is not as formal/professional as well - that also can throw people off. But she admits this in her book. That is her style. Overall, I enjoyed the book. Some of the scientific/research discussion did seem to drag on a bit too long, but maybe she had felt she really had to explain in detail for those not familiar with her concepts or ideas. Again, I think giving this book a different title and noting some paraphrase about it addressing theories and such, would have been a good idea.

Very disappointed.

I loved the first book.. The next few were OK..now its just all science & explanations.. Maybe if you are having similar experiences and are looking for answers you may like this. But I enjoy reading about encounters & stories. This doesn't feel much like a story.. Disappointed after knowing how great the first one was. I hope that the next one contains more stories. I never put a book down without reading it.. Have only done so a few times. I had to put this one down.

An excellent thought-provoking read for those wanting a more in-depth book on Bigfoot.

I thoroughly enjoyed Susan Sullivan's latest book. Having read all of her books, I found this one to be very thought-provoking. It is an in-depth look into her being at how she views the phenomonia surrounding her and her family. If I just wanted to read an action story, there are many to chose from, but if I truly wanted to be open to other possibilities, this is an excellent read to start on that path to deeper thinking.
