A must-read for beginners!

I consider myself a health buff and have started to reinvent myself 2 years ago. I gave up processed foods and have started a much healthier lifestyle by consuming organic foods, and giving up cigarette for good. And as I dedicate myself in making my "Jam Diaz 2.0" project a successful one, I have now included meditation and yoga to my activities of daily living. This book is a superb deal for beginners like myself. It gives you an overview of how meditation works, how to get started, and whatnot. I used to think that my work is a major setback to achieving this because I travel a lot and have little time to allot for activities of this nature. Not to mention, my phones ringing up every hour for a client call or doing a series of video conference with my bosses. But this book taught me that I can achieve this at my own phase at my own time. I just need to follow a few steps to help me get started and stick with them. Plus points to John for including links of some audios I can use during my session. Some of it has already been on repeat even though I'm not doing any meditation. I just let them play in the background to help me warm up for my next session. :)

Take time to relax with this book

I just stumbled upon this book while I was browsing the Amazon for some interesting books to read. I gave it a try and downloaded it, read it, and finished it in no time. i say this book is fairly decent to read. Though I haven't really tried meditation to use as a relaxation technique before this book surely does gave me ideas on how to do it if ever I get the chance to practice it on my own. Pretty informative for a beginner in meditation technique.
Everybody seems to be very busy in this period of time that we're living in. I, for one, is among these poeple who constantly on the move in an attempt to cope up with the life and work I am in right now. It gets pretty tiring actually. I hardly got time to enjoy other things or even pursue my other passions in life. I can barely have time to relax on my own unless my friends drag me up somewhere so that we can take a break and relax for a while. In this book, you will find ways how to unload those stress that has been building up in your busy and hectic life.

Feel inner peace through meditation.

Indeed very true that the simplest and most effective way to reduced stress is through meditation, as I just need my mind to rest from this busy world we live in and the exhaustion I got from juggling my time and energy from life, family and work. I said to myself I needed a break, well, this book gave me What I need, the break I am longing for by means of meditation. This book provided me with guidelines on how to practice meditation in achieving the calmness inside me. Different kinds of motivation was discussed and you just need to find out whats suitable and fit for you as it even paves way for any mind to be more clearer and our inner self to be more at ease. I also love about this book are the citations of famous personalities that experience loss and were able to come out through it exemplary by practicing meditation, their stories gave me such inspiration and it touches my heart that I am starting to feel the inner peace by exercising mindful meditation.
