A new twist on the mystery hero.

Are you ready to jump into the world of drag queen shows? Full disclosure, I've been to Drag Queen Bingo at Hamburger Mary's. But I digress. We have a mystery, political intrigue. How does it all tie together? Where will we end up? What happened in that parking lot? Why are the police afraid to get involved? What is the cost of doing the "right thing"? Not only has our author written a great mystery story, Wallace has given us an inside look into many different worlds. Why did my suitcase end up in Spokane and not at LAX? How do those entertainers end up on all those cruise ships? Again I digress. Great characters! A grand tour of Miami (I lived there for a year and can picture those images so clearly described by Wallace). If you love mystery stories, if you love well fleshed out characters, if you want a great read not like anything else, this book is for you.

A Fun Whodunnit Mystery to read

From the moment I read the Prologue, right to the end of this book, what became clear was that Larry and Oscar were going to take you on one helluva ride and journey into both their "regular jobs" and their extra curricular lives as detectives, in this Miami Fl, town. Hooray for Wallace Godfrey for providing a humorous, adventurous and intriguing journey for us readers in to the lives and the town of these 2 and the antics, mystery and ultimate truths they discover along the way. Its a fun terrific read with great twist and turns and keeps the reader engaged.. right until that last page. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

Finally, a good book with air....

I have to say that this book had me in stitches; occasional bursts causing me to realize that I wasn't at home alone. Was it the fact that I was on transit and I once got a weird look from the lady listening to her playlist! Sunfish and Starfish, showed their lives as drag queens that was comical, raw and spell-bounding. Wallace Godfrey drew you into their world, weaving and transcending episodes of life, laughter and pain. LOVED every bit of it! Now, all I can do is picture the screen version of this mighty duo and wonder who and what they are going to get themselves into next. Can't wait for the sequel!!!!
